Beer-Talk in Berlin: Manipulating LLMs – How to confuse ChatGPT
This Beer-Talk (in German) is divided in technical presentation of about 40 minutes followed by a stand-up snack. The participation is free of charge.
Topic
Artificial Intelligence (AI) refers to the ability of computers and machines to imitate or simulate human-like thinking and behavior. AI systems can be applied in various fields, such as task automation, image and speech recognition, medical diagnostics, financial analysis, and much more.
Prompt Injections are a new type of attacks, in which hackers abuse an AI to gain sensitive information, manipulate information, and more.
The focus of this talk is to analyze such attacks and discuss prevention mechanisms.
Speaker
Stephan Sekula has been interested in IT security for over 20 years. Since 2013, he has been working for Compass Security Deutschland GmbH as an IT Security Analyst.
He primarily focuses on security analyses of web applications, but he is also interested in other topics such as AD Security, Mobile App Security, and more.
