How secure is the E-Voting system?

Tagesschau report of February 20, 2019 beginns with this words: "The sense, benefits and dangers of e-voting have long been the subject of controversy." SRF asked Cyrill Brunschwiler, Managing Director of Compass Security Schweiz AG, for a statement on the security of e-voting systems.

At invitation of Swiss Post, its e-voting system is currently being checked by external IT specialists and hackers. This procedure has sparked a heated discussion.
