Beer-Talk: Security Best Practices for On-Premise Environments
The Beer-Talk is divided in a technical presentation of about 45 minutes followed by Q&A with the chat option. The participation is free.
Topic
News about hacked companies and data breaches have become almost a daily experience. Often the cause was human error or the exploitation of missing security measures. We also identify such missing security measures again and again during penetration tests.
Especially for smaller and medium sized businesses the implementation of security best practices can be very challenging, being it due to the lack of resources or knowledge. When the infrastructure is being managed by only a small team, it is often impossible to read through all the necessary documentation and understand what points need to be implemented to ensure the security of the infrastructure.
In this Beer-Talk (in English) we would like to show you what some of the most important security measures in an on-premise environment are and how to implement them. We will also present a guide which was developed during a research, covering these points and more.
