Beer-Talk: Responding to Cyber Attacks

The news about cyber attacks is omnipresent. In most cases, the actions of the actors are portrayed as extremely sophisticated and their arsenal as extremely powerful. However, experience shows that companies usually fall victim to a normal "flu". Therefore, it is mainly essential to have a plan and to know the limits of its own lines of defense. Join the Beer-Talk on September 23 and find out more.

Responding to Cyber Attacks

The online Beer-Talk (in German) is divided in a technical presentation of about 60 minutes followed by Q&A with the chat option. The participation is free.

We will show you important aspects in the fight against malware and give you a live example of what happens when ransomware is executed. You will also gain insight into incident analysis and the creation of Indicators of Compromise (IoCs).

The talk will highlight the limitations of sandboxes and provide tips around malware analysis and effective incident blocking (containment). Finally, you will be given a few tangible measures to take away.
